TIG Filling (welding) Techniques

This is from my previous metal working site and I thought it was usefull. Welding TIG can be pretty tricky at times.

Here are two short movies to demonstrate proper TIG welding hand motion.

This movie (TIG_Filler_Feed.mov 997 Kb) shows how to feed TIG filler rod through your fingers with as little effort as possible.

This movie (TIG_Filler_Adding.mov 742 Kb) shows how to advance the filler rod and add it to the puddle.
